Sherrie Ann Torres leaves ABS-CBN
In a statement to Media Newser Philippines, Torres explained that her decision to leave the network was a personal one.

Longtime ABS-CBN reporter Sherrie Ann Torres has left the network, marking the end of her tenure with a final broadcast this morning on Radyo 630, during which she announced her departure to viewers.
In a statement to Media Newser Philippines, Torres explained that her decision to leave the network was a personal one.
Torres joined ABS-CBN in 2016 after nearly a decade as an anchor and reporter at GMA-7. During her time at the Kapamilya Network, Torres became one of its most prominent reporters, particularly known for her political reporting and enterprise pieces.
She also contributed to other ABS-CBN platforms, including ANC, the network’s 24-hour news channel; and anchored programs on Radyo 630.
Outside of her TV career, Torres had a brief stint as corporate communications officer for oil retailer Flying V, and also worked as a part-time lecturer at Far Eastern University.
Torres began her career in television news at ABC5, now known as TV5.
