Love Añover, the longtime co-host of Unang Hirit, is now part of the Net25 family. The news came this past weekend from Añover herself.

“In all levels of my life, personal, career, family, business — whenever I am faced with big decisions, I always, always ask for signs from him. And when you listen hard and follow, you are going to be fine — no matter what the ride would be — rough or smooth. I always hold tight to God’s plans and promises! This move is one of them!” she wrote in a Facebook post.

Añover, who will be hosting a new program at the Eagle Network called Love and Everythaaang!, described her network transfer as a “hassle-free” transition, writing, “Namamangha ako na walang anumang naging problema sa prosesong ito, na kapag nagsabi ka ng mga bagay mula sa puso at naging totoo ka, maayos at maganda ang babalik sa iyo!”

Añover, now 46, started her career in 1997 as a production assistant for the venerable The Probe Team, working for and with news heavyweights such as Cheche Lazaro, Eliza Zamora-Solis and Nessa Valdellon. She would eventually be given a chance to do on-cam assignments, which ultimately led to a spot on Unang Hirit.

At the GMA-7 morning show, Añover covered consumer reports and traffic updates, eventually earning her the moniker “Reyna ng Kalsada,” best known, of course, for her signature line “Smile naman diyan and everything.”

During her two-decade stint at the Kapuso Network, Añover also had a chance to host her own public affairs shows, namely Lovely Day, LoveLife, Happy Land, Sunnyville and Hanep-Buhay. She was also a correspondent for Good News and Bawal ang Pasaway Kay Mareng Winnie, as well as segment host for the now-defunct Frontpage: Ulat ni Mel Tiangco.
