TV networks gear up for the 2025 midterm elections coverage
As in past elections, local networks are gearing up to deliver wall-to-wall coverage, from the race for the Senate’s “Magic 12” to the battles unfolding in provinces and cities across the country.

The countdown to the 2025 midterm elections has begun. On Monday, Filipinos nationwide will make their way to polling stations to vote for new leaders, both local and national. As in past elections, local networks are gearing up to deliver wall-to-wall coverage — from the race for the Senate’s “Magic 12” to the battles unfolding in provinces and cities across the country.
GMA Integrated News, the country’s “News Authority,” will begin its “Eleksyon 2025” coverage at 4AM on May 12, with simultaneous broadcasts on GMA-7 and GTV, continuing through May 13 across its news programs.

ABS-CBN News will launch its “Halalan 2025 Marathon Coverage” at 5AM on election day, airing on ALLTV, A2Z, Kapamilya Channel, and ANC. Online, viewers can also follow the latest developments via the ABS-CBN News and ANC 24/7’s YouTube channels and on their social media accounts.

Also joining the coverage are TJ Manotoc, Stanley Palisada, Denice Dinsay, Michelle Ong, and Migs Bustos.
The MediaQuest Group is also mounting its own multi-platform election special, with One PH, One News, and News5 offering separate broadcasts. Branded as “Bilang Pilipino 2025: Bayan ang Ipanalo,” their coverage kicks off over the weekend, with reports from the miting de avances of national and local candidates.
