Jove Francisco named Patrick Paez’s successor on Cignal TV
The ‘Sa Totoo Lang’ co-host has been promoted as officer-in-charge of Cignal’s news content.

With the news of Patrick Paez’s move to News5 as its new head, Cignal TV has selected a successor to the veteran journalist.
Jove Francisco, the longtime Kapatid newser and co-host of Sa Totoo Lang, has been promoted as officer-in-charge of Cignal TV’s news content. His appointment takes effect today, October 1.
Francisco, now 55, previously served as senior manager for both One News and One PH, and prior to that as executive producer of the now-defunct The Chiefs.
He joined Cignal TV in 2018 after a brief executive production stint at ABS-CBN News Channel’s The World Tonight.
Before that, he spent nearly two decades as anchor and reporter at TV5, where he began his career in news.
