The ABS-CBN News Channel quietly added a new talk program last week with the premiere of Banker After Dark in its programming lineup.

Hosted by global investment banker Stephen CuUnjieng, Banker After Dark features discussions with some of the country’s top business figures.

For its pilot episode, CuUnjieng welcomed actress-turned-social-entrepreneur Nanette Medved-Po and her husband, Chris Po, as the “humble limited series show’s first guests.”

“I couldn’t think, and that’s why I didn’t think, of anyone else to start the show with because I thought you would bring a nice blend of knowledge, humility, balance, and both profit and charity work and advocacy,” CuUnjieng said of his decision to invite the power couple as his first guests.

CuUnjieng is no stranger to television, but this marks his first solo program. Prior to this, he served as a resident business analyst on ANC, best known for his financial and economic discussions with Market Edge anchor Michelle Ong.

Occasionally, he would also appear on Cignal TV’s One News as a guest and resource person on programs like Storycon, The Big Story, and Thought Leaders.

Before his television career, CuUnjieng was an expert in finance and investments, having held senior executive roles at several multiple multinational firms. Most recently, he was appointed to the ASEAN Advisory Group of the Financial Services Department Council by the Hong Kong Financial Services Development Council.

Banker After Dark airs every Friday at 6PM on ANC, on iWantTFC, and on ANC’s YouTube channel.
