Mico Halili named new digital head of ABS-CBN Sports
In his new role, the veteran broadcaster will oversee the sports division’s online news coverage on all things sports.

Mico Halili, the former anchor of CNN Philippines’ Sports Desk, has been appointed as the new digital head of ABS-CBN Sports, the sports unit of ABS-CBN.
In his new role, the veteran broadcaster will oversee the sports division’s online news coverage on all things sports — a move in line with the Kapamilya Network’s mandate to embrace the digital world.
Additionally, Halili will also help the news desk set the sports news agenda and will continue contributing on ABS-CBN Sports programming especially during the UAAP season.
Halili left CNN Philippines in December after more than two years at the anchor desk. Aside from anchoring its flagship sports program, he also contributed on some of the local CNN station’s special programming.
Previously, he worked for GMA News Online as host of the webshow FTW (For The Win), Solar Television, and ABC5, now known as ESPN5.
