Sherrie Ann Torres reunites with Julius Segovia on ‘Saktong Tapatan’
Starting November 23, Torres will co-anchor the DWAR Abante Radyo program, alongside her old Kapuso colleague, Julius Segovia.

Just a month after leaving ABS-CBN News to join the Senate as an employee, veteran journalist Sherrie Ann Torres is back on the airwaves. Starting November 23, Torres will co-anchor Saktong Tapatan, a new morning program on DWAR Abante Radyo, airing at 10AM.
Joining Torres on the program is her former colleague Julius Segovia, making this program a reunion of sorts for the two. Both Torres and Segovia worked as reporters at GMA News during the same period and left the Kapuso news dision in 2016.

After parting ways with GMA, Torres continued her television career at ABS-CBN, while Segovia shifted to a quieter role as a lecturer at both Far Eastern University and Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila. Since 2018, Segovia has also served as a columnist for DWAR Abante Radyo’s sister company, Abante Tonite, writing on a variety of topics, including lifestyle, food and opinion pieces.
