CNN Philippines sets premiere date for ‘Business Roundup’
Hosted by its resident business analyst Michael Alimurung, the program will have its initial telecast on July 6 at 4:30PM.
After some delays, CNN Philippines will finally be airing its new weekly business program, Business Roundup.
Hosted by its resident business analyst Michael Alimurung, the program will have its initial telecast on July 6 at 4:30PM.
As per the local CNN station’s press release back in March, the program was originally scheduled to air that same month. At the time, Alimurung was already a guest analyst for News Night, providing his expertise on business-related issues.
Alimurung, who is also one of the new co-hosts of New Day, was originally a talent of Bloomberg TV Philippines. At the now-defunct business news channel, he hosted the weekly talk program Bright Ideas.
According to his bio at Bloomberg, Alimuring is also a DAP fellow consultant at the Development Academy of the Philippines since 2012, and a management consultant to leaders of Philippine government agencies — such as the Commission on Audit, the Department of Social Welfare and Development and the Development Academy of the Philippines — since 2015.
Previously, he worked as a project manager for Citibank and as a system analyst for Procter and Gamble’s Global Business Services group.
