Ex-CNN Philippines host Claudine Trillo joins Bilyonaryo News Channel

Bilyonaryo News Channel is expanding its on-air team with the hiring of former CNN Philippines host Claudine Trillo.

Trillo has been tapped as the newest co-host of BNC’s noontime lifestyle program, The Daily Dish, joining Ferdi Salvador, Monique Tuzon-Basi, and Chal Lontoc-Del Rosario.

“So happy to be here, guys. Thanks for the warm welcome,” Trillo said during Wednesday’s broadcast as she was introduced on the program.

Trillo’s arrival at BNC comes as the network continues to bolster its lifestyle and infotainment slate. The channel has recently been bringing in new on-air personalities, including celebrity talk show host Raymond Gutierrez, who served as guest entertainment anchor for Agenda.

Trillo, now 47, was last seen on the now-defunct CNN Philippines as co-anchor of Headline News, which was originally called Daybreak before to the CNN rebranding. Previously, she worked as a weather presenter for TV5.

Earlier in her career, she also appeared as a morning show host for then-NBN’s One Morning, and on ABS-CBN’s Magandang Umaga, Bayan.
