Korina Sanchez-Roxas and Pinky Webb to anchor BNC’s ‘Agenda’
Debuting on Monday, ‘Agenda’ will be Bilyonaryo News Channel’s first Filipino-language newscast.
As it prepares for its Cignal TV debut, Bilyonaryo News Channel is making final adjustments to its flagship newscast, Agenda.
Premiering on Monday, September 9, at 6PM, Agenda will be an all-Filipino newscast anchored by Korina Sanchez-Roxas and Pinky Webb.
Sanchez-Roxas, a veteran journalist, was last seen at the anchor desk at ABS-CBN’s TV Patrol. This marks her return to the news after nearly a decade.
Webb, meanwhile, most recently served as the anchor for CNN Philippines’ Balitaan and The Source before the network’s closure in January of this year.
Also joining the anchor duo team are former Al Jazeera correspondent Jamela Alindogan, and Politiko’s Nancy Carvajal. They are expected to contribute special reports to the evening broadcast.
BNC, which is currently available on free-TV via BEAM TV channel 31, is produced by Bilyonaryo, the popular website known for covering the country’s movers and shakers. It will officially launch on Cignal TV channel 24 next week, through a partnership with the MVP-owned cable provider.
