One News expands primetime lineup with new sports program ‘Play by Play’
The new sports program will air live back-to-back with ‘The Big Story.’
One News is set to expand its primetime programming with the addition of Play by Play, a new nightly sports show aimed at delivering the latest updates from the world of sports.
Debuting on November 4 at 9PM, the new half-hour program will be hosted by Gud Morning Kapatid’s Andrei Felix, alongside veteran sports broadcaster Cesca Litton.
Both Felix and Litton are no strangers to sports broadcasting. The two previously anchored Sports Desk on CNN Philippines before becoming mainstays at Cignal’s One Sports, the sports division of TV5 and Cignal TV.
Play by Play will be broadcast live each night, directly following One News’ flagship newscast, The Big Story. Long Conversation, the talk show strip that currently occupies this slot, will move to 9:30PM starting next week.
