Claudine Trillo to join ‘Daybreak’ as newest co-host

Former TV5er Claudine Trillo is now part of the 9TV-CNN Philippines family, Media Newser Philippines has learned.

Trillo will be joining Amelyn Veloso and Hilary Isaac as their newest co-host on Daybreak beginning Monday, November 3.

“Looking forward to work in an English newscast,” she said in an interview this morning. “All my past jobs were all in Tagalog. It should be much easier for me to express my thoughts now.”

Trillo comes to 9TV — soon to be rebranded as CNN Philippines — after years of working at the Kapatid Network as one of their resident weather girls.

Before that she co-hosted One Morning, a joint venture between NBN4, RPN9 and IBC13, as well as a stint on ABS-CBN’s Magandang Umaga, Bayan and ABC-5’s home shopping show Venta5.
